Can 3 clowns live together? 1 is a black and white one is a snow flake one is a black snow flake they are all swimming together all are under 2"

Generally speaking, it is not considered a good idea. As soon as two of them pair off, the third may be in trouble. Anything is possible, though, especially in a tank of your size. I've seen tanks with multiple pairs so again in general, no, but it may work for you! How's that for committing to an answer? :lol2:

Lol. I kinda had no choice but to put it in there for today will probably move it soon. I was just hoping since they were all hanging together that they would have a chance. Just so cute

Ive tried it several times in my 60 anemone cube and always end up with just two. It seems someone always ends up getting bullied to the point that I have to remove them or they die from the stress. I got tired of watching one or more suffer and didn't feel the need to torture any more fish and just settled for two.

That said as others have mentioned I've seen people who seem to get away with it but ill never try it again at least not in such a small tank.

I have 3 "chocolate glazed" clowns that have been together for a few years, maybe more. They spawn every two weeks, letting the third little guy swim around with them too. They actually have a batch in the hopper right now. But, they are hosted by a mertens that's 2' big in a 210. They have spawned for a while now.

Normally, it most likely won't work. I grew these guys together from juvi's.

Yes, mine are spawning. They've actually been together 3.5 years, now that I look it up. Two were local young tank raised types and one was from live aquaria a few weeks earlier. It was bigger than the other two, and became the female. They've also always had a gigantea or two to live in, so that may also help them be comfortable with a trio. :)

Normally when we see more than a pair it is a group from the same clutch, you may be having that similar success on a smaller scale w/ those two young tank raised, however you are being the exception to the rule, and hopefully it continues, though at any time that can change overnight.
That younger/smaller one may have still been sexless, if it were to become male or if it was a male it may not have worked out.

I actually find that having a nem makes your clowns more territorial usually, or at least that has been my exp w/ all that I have kept over the years, gives them something to really claim as their territory.

For a while my juvenile was in a different gigantea than the male and the female visited both. I was afraid they might set up two males and one female, but that didn't happen. When one of the gigantea eventually shrank away, the they all moved back in together. :)

The tank raised clowns in my case definitely were not yet male or female when added cause they were pretty small, and even the live aqauria one was small enough that it probably wasn't changed either.

I got a breeding pair SnowOnyx and two juveniles SnowOnyx all living together with no problem. IME, Ocellaris, Pink Skunk and Percula can be keep in small group with one breeding pair. It is unlikely that we can keep two females in the same tank however.

I tried this also, I had one onyx, one picasso, and one semi picasso. The onyx and semi picasso paired and the picasso was harassed to a great extent of stress and died before I could remove him from the situation. I would say generally not a good idea.
