That mertensii is awesome. Love the gigs also. Good luck with them![/QUOTE

I've wanted a Mertensii for years but never saw one locally. It's a shame that this guy is bleached but I'm glad he's healthy otherwise. Bob was great and offered to send another Mertensii with the blue and purple gig this week to make up for him not arriving as promised.

Glad to see that the nems are improving.

IME magnifica respond very well to treatment. Looks like you've got a nice one.

I know we put a damper on your excitement regarding your new additions. I apologize for my part in that. Please continue to post photos. I'm looking forward to seeing all of them in their new home.

Sorry for the delay everyone. Work has been very busy so not much time for posting. All the anemones are doing very well. Only the large mag has needed individual treatment and he looks good right now. I will get some pictures of the posted over the weekend along with some of the new arrivals that Bob is sending me on Saturday ;)

How did the new arrivals arrive? Everyone acclimating well?

- I was curious how many of you have had an experience where you didn't have to put a new mag or gig through cipro? Seems like after a few days, most end up there even if the condition was good on arrival...

Yes, two purple gigs this past summer from my LFS (LFS to Philadelphia PA), both were not treated or put thru QT and are doing beautifully as the only anemone in their aquariums.

The LFS told me they order direct, no middle man wholesalers.

Of the more desirable anemones, they've been getting H. magnifica (last mag I saw there had purple-tipped tentacles), S gigantea, S mertensii and had a beautiful Red S. haddoni with red lips this past Fall -

I got a phone call shortly after posting my own honest experience, a few years ago. OP may have gotten the same feedback. I quickly changed my feedback response, which I regret today.

"If you don't have anything positive to say, say nothing at all".

OP has been on several times without updating. May turn into a "fall away thread". Fuzzy pics not encouraging. No update speaks for itself. No offense, my initial thoughts.

One guy trying to make a living, one guy trying to stock his tank, and a whole boat load of others trying to vicariously live through that one guy! Hope a good outcome. Prove me wrong!
