I picked up my pistol shrimp today from CF and immediately my yellow watchman goby paired up with it! SO COOL!
It's like the shrimp had been there all along.
About 2 minutes later I had to rescue my poor funghia coral from getting buried alive. lol
Now there's a big excavation under way..... :spin1:

Okay - now I'm just having too much fun.
I had moved the funghia about 2 inches further away from the little cave and the pistol shrimp just came out and tried to push it further away.
It was hilarious watching that little shrimp trying to move the big coral - the shrimps little legs swimming and pushing with all it's might!:lmao:

that is a great story! you must be lovin' this!

Yes, Kat, yes I am loving it - SO cute!

Sounds cool but a picture says a thousand words. So where are the photos?

Right - usually I'm the one asking for the pics :)
I'll see what I can do - I might have to do a stake-out though with the video camera because these guys are really in-and-out.
Have to go back to work in a bit - the stake out may have to wait until tomorrow.

Same thing happened to me. The it's like the goby just new I bought the shrimp just for him.

I made a video of it.. check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pl1s8Jfm4DM

You'll love them, but they do dig ALOT. He must of dug out 4 or 5 different burrows before he settled down. And he still diggst new places just because some times. Make sure your rocks (& corals) are stable.

Heh! Mine does the same thing. I finally had to overcome my fear of glueing and move my ricordia and zoa frag onto the LR because the poor zoa kept getting buried.

I love my pair. Enjoy!
