Looks good. The PH seems a little High, and the is your alk 8. or do you mean Dkh?

You might want to do a little reading on the purple up. I thought I read in the Chem. forum that it really is not doing anything to the tank.

Other than that it sounds good! How do you like the Hex? Have any pics?

That right, I have tried once before to view them.. It wants you to sign in, anyway of flipping them to RC :D or even photobuck, that works better IMO.

it has only been set up for about a month now,
i have a "spraybar" underthe sand that is powered by a MJ1200 it is position abouy half way up the back of the tank ,

not drilled little to new to "nano's " to jump that far into it

Still a good idea. it has to be tough just hanging a power head in there, this way it pushes water up words and keeps from pushing sand ever where.

Lon,
i added a couple of pics to the bucket one of spraybar and one of leak test,

its pretty clean looking you can only see the powerhead from 2 of the 5 views i would of loved to have a cls but the stand id so narrow i cant fit a sump under it, and the girlfriend said sump to the side was not an option :(

next time

I like that! Thinking of doing that On my 10 gallon Nano. Maxijet 1200 right now tends to blow sand from one side to the other. I want to make it a Seahorse tank with Zoo's, so I don't want a lot of flow but at the same time need to make sure I have movement in the tank so algae don't build up.

i like the idea the only thing i would improve on would be the hex is tall and tight and there is not a good way for me to have flow across the sand bed so i need extra clean up crew th help with the detrius, and i dont know how much flow i lose from the first outlet to the next to the next, watter still comes out the last one but not as much
