Thank you. I've got only some sketches that I sent to an aquarium manufacturer. The rest of the system was designed just in my head :hmm3:

From bad news, I lost my achilles tang. He died after two months in tank.

Great thread and tank!!!! I knew your tank looked familiar after seeing it in a video for pacific sun. I have their 60" t5/led on my 72x36x28 and get amazing par numbers. With all lights on at 100% and the fixture 30" from the sand bed I get par reading near 300. If you were thinking about making a switch, I dont think you would need a custom fixture especially since all of your corals are in the center of the tank.

Anyway, great tank and awesome build! Keep up the good work!

Small update.

I had a problem with cyanobacteria and dinoflagellates. I made a treatment with Chemi Clear and got rid of cyanos but dinos are still here. Current view:

Due to hight level of phopshate and nitrate I set up a refugium:

Meantime I also changed a skimmer. I bought a secondhand Royal Exclusive BK300.

I've got in the tank the best 'polyp reductors' you can imagine. We call them Centropyge but IMO their name should be changed C. flavissima nips SPS polyps all day long. Unfortunately she taught C. loriculus and acanthops to do the same. That is why I didn't notice polyp reduction due to high levels of NO3 and PO4.

What sand did you use in this build?

It's Nature's Ocean Bio-Activ Live Samoa Pink. I just removed all these shell fragments and granules larger than 1mm.
