Just a update. My Starphire glass came in today. Glass moving and tank building will start Thursday. I will have lots of pictures in my next update.

Little bit of a set back today. The glass could not be delivered today. So Monday night will be the big build day.

Do you have this tank setup now ? I am building a 420 g 3 side StarFire Tank 96"L x 36"w x 28" H . I can hardly wait for the glass to come in . How do you like that white glass?

No it's not setup yet! I have not even seen the glass LOL. Today is the big day. Glass should be here in the late morning and the tank will be put together tonight.

Glass came in today. build will start tonight. Here are a few pics of some of the glass. The sheet on the stand is reg 5/8" float glass. The 2 panes laying leaning are the 96" X 30" Starphire panes. In the pictures you can really see the difference in color.

I'm using my old stand from my 240g tank. The whole stand will be skinned with green board then painted the same color as the walls. I did not want to install the drywall until the tank and all plumbing is completed. There will be no doors on the stand my sump and all pumps will be in the basement.

The canopy will also be built into the ceiling. I want to have access to both side of the tank. So doors will be on both sides above not sure what style of doors to go with yet?

Looks good so far- now it's time for the fun to begin! Your last tank was awesome so I'm sure this will be a great post to follow. Keep the pics coming and good luck with the tank build tonight.

sidewinder770,

Thanks I want this tank to be better then the last. Learn from a few mistakes I made with the last. My last tank the overflow took up to much room in the tank.

Tangman,

It's a he is 3 year old male his name is Otis. Great dog I love pugs very loyal dogs and smart. Yours looks like a cutie.

Thanks for the wish of luck on the build tonight.

Well that tank got built! Everything went smoothly. Here are a few pics of the build. The glass on the outside has not been cleaned yet clamps are still on for min 24hrs. Silicone has not been scrapped off yet. I'm not going to stay in the house tonight the old lady and me may not wake up in the Morning LOL :) The smell is to much. So this is all for now have to get some air!!!!
