30g cube NANO LED BUILD !!!

well usually i would say go for it, but having a 500g changes that a bit. haha, what would you do with it?, and it would be cool to see a build on it with pics. we love em.

I hear ya on the 500 glln!! lol But I think I started it without really wanting to I just bought an Oceanic chiller for it should be coming in shortly. I will definitely do nothing but sps. and your right im gonna start a thread and start taking pics.STAY TUNED!!lol

Pedro, the tank looks cool. I really like the open look with the tall rock work. Maybe I missed it or just don't remember but do you have anything like a remote deep sand bed or any sand bed at all in the sump. I probably read it but just don't recall.

thanks, and The plan was to do a deep sand bed in one of the parts in the sump, but i decided against it for now. Still dont have a clean up crew either with just the cleaner shrimp in there that i might take out since im trying to spot feed my nems and he is a thief.

Not for the 500glln but for the 58glln cause if I do go for it I will be putting a MH pendant. Wife wasnt to happy but to late now lol!!!

Oh and thanks for the help offer may take you up on it

So your thinking of setting up a tank you have ordered a chiller for ??? haha nice.

and yeah anytime even with no heat added to my tank with the air off and the temps rising i do have an almost 3 degree swing on my tank right now. So we will see what will be needed in the future.

I have more anemones coming tomorrow !!! feeding the silversides seems to be making them happy so im gonna try and bump up the feedings more. I will try and frag some nems when i get back from my trip late next week. got some iodine some more dr tims for whatever tank i have to set up need a few more supplies still. gonna be interesting for sure. and ill be sure to put it on my videos.

No prob. I'll go over that with ya. Or I can take one and add it to my YouTube account also. Actually that's what I wanted to do for members. Video tours of our clubs tanks.

prob around $50 bones, in the 2-3 inch range.

(thats what she said)

if i sell any in the future to the public i would ask more for the different color variations most likely, or see how fast i can get em bigger.

I fragged some of the RBTA's and besides a few pieces that are kinda staying out of sight, they all look to be doing really well. I had to do it now since im going out of town for a week because if i put them in the tank and tried to do it when i came back then i wouldnt have been able to get them off the rock, there are some bad things about REALLY porous rock.

Small update from Antigua. Sam says its looking good as of yesterday. I get back later tomorrow. Want to really thank Sam for checking up on my tank. Makes me feel sooooo much better.

well im back, tank looks pretty good. Before leaving i had switched the lighting schedule to less intensity and less time, since there were alot of corals new in the tank i figured since i wouldnt be here that they can acclimate to led's better that way. Also the ATO was installed.

small update time. first the bad, dont see my first RBTA the discolored glowing one, before i left he had moved to the bottom of the tank. And the one frag of some bottle brush sps didnt make it. he was from kevins tank and then from sams to mine so he wasnt a 100 percent but i thought he would have been okay.

the good, i dont know if it was the ato or having the refugium light finally on a timer but it seems like my temperature swing has gotten to a 1 degree difference which is really good because it was 3degrees at least before. All the Bubble tip anemones have gotten comfortable and are all bigger in size and look great, again i think thats just cuz they have gotten used to the tank better. Also the rest of the corals look great and are growing. Ill update pics and videos when i get a chance.
