Thanks for the reply!

Thanks for the reply!

Hey Dan, thanks for the compliments! The Ca Reactor is the main component to supplement this system - which I love. I do use a little potassium iodide once a week, and that is all. I also feed the 4 fish 1-2x/day which also seems to help with a little nutrient for the coral and definitely the clams.

Tell Richard and Trevor I said hi!

Thank you for the response. We appreciate you telling us about your system! We always like to hear what's working for people. You may want to submit your tank to be featured on our website because it really does look terrific.

Oh, we told Richard and Trevor you said "hello." They said: :wavehand:

I am really diggin the tank, I too have a Solana, I am hopeful to achieve this type of success, thanks for posting the pics, and by all means keep em coming:)
Bravo!

Wow, this is a beautiful reef tank. Would love to see more photos of the SPS. Thanks.

Thank you, and working on (photos) right now;)

What type of salt you use?

I really like H2Ocean and use it most of the time. Occasionally, in a pinch Kent.

Beautiful tank! How often do you check your params? Any water changes?

Thanks! I check water param's weekly (Ca, Alk, Mg, SG). I rarely do water changes - maybe 5gal every month or so.

Awesome FTS...
Love the layout, very little LR, plenty of room for corals, even though they are packed in there...lol...
Again, Great Job!

Thank plyle02-

It's hard to make out from that FTS pic, but the tank only has about 1/3 LR so the corals can GROW up into the water column. At this time, I use the back wall from growing out corals.
