Oye Pedrito don't b spreading any rumors! I got free reign around here.

Sure, gasman, sure.
Coño, Manny... you brought it up.
Anyway, besides the "retaliation factor", it's a decision we all have to make to some extent, one that we've all apparently made: Do I put a new wing on the compound or build a reef tank?

update pics, finally today we got to work for a few hours on the tank canopy and the wood structure that will be between the tank and the wall. Everything came out perfect, thanks to the expertise of Ricardo. We also did the pilot holes in the wall so that I can continue with the plumbing part two (gluing it)

Dam, Rogger you had a slow start, but now you're in overdrive...
Since I have not been able to come by and see it live, I look forward to this thread everyday...
The kids must be excited to see this monster of a tank coming along.

great idea having the skimmer in that spot.

I am hoping that it works well, The idea for the placement of the skimmer in that section was giving to me by Manny "The Saent". He is also going to be doing some modifications to the drip tray to make space for a frag/refugium area in the sump, that is going to be neat!

Well I have no choice the water is almost at the point of reaching the overflow, I must have everything done prior to that. :D

are you going to use any water from the old tank?

Dunno yet, probably very little, I am trying to have a clean start here.

What about aquascaping, Rogger. You've got a lot of real estate there. Did you see the Oct TOTM setup? The guy built "shelves" out of PVC and eggcrate, then piled LR on them. It guarantees plenty of hiding places for your fish and saves on LR. You can't tell from looking at the photos; I thought it was a very interesting solution.

Yeah, I did se that technic, I liked it too, I will look into doing something like that, I bet it will be difficult to hide the pvc when you can see it from both sides, hehe, yet another barrier!!!
