375 gal Slow-build

I am starting to plan the plumbing. My concern is the size of the current bulkheads. There are 3 holes 1 5/8" A 3/4" elbow fits inside the bulkhead exit. Does this mean that the bulkhead is considered 3/4" ?? Second will this be enough flow for this size tank?

Poriferan, great seeing your thread here, will be following, hope I can upload my thread also soon enough, take care

Small update as I continue to look for a new Job :eek2:
I finished the drain plumbing and set up the original sump with a soft 1" return line to test it.

I must say this thing is quiet. Zero noise from the overflow(Thanks BeanAnimal)

While I still plan on this tank becoming the sump for the big one,...
I must get some corals and fish ready :spin1:

Here is are a few new shots. Sorry for the pic quality as the Radium is making it hard for me to get good pics.

I just came upon your build, I love it and will be tagging along. Incredible job on the scratch removal.:bounce2:

Thanks, I think that I will get to start the floor reinforcements in Jan. I have a structural engineer that is going to let me know what I need to do to get the existing floor ready for the 5000+ Lbs that will sit on it. I see the empty tank every day and dream of what it will look like when I get it full of corals.

Charles, the tank is looking great, any updates on the big one (380)?

Sorry you had to look for a new job, hope you already did find one or about to.

Take care.
