375 gallon build thread

How many pounds of rock did you put in the tank? Just trying to judge how much I will need when the time comes. Thanks.

That was 250lbs. I am happy with how much I have...I didn't want TOO much rock. I probably could have used less too however. You'd love this rock. It is sooo light that it looks like it should weigh twice what it actually does.

wow never thought this day would come. good to see you got some water on your hands. did you end up pluming the 100 fuge in?? or is that coming later?? i might have to come out some time soon and see it

Dude, I think you've completely lost it. You need to go to the hospital and get checked out because you've obviously blown a gasket. You have some serious issues!!! :hammer:
 
with an attitude like that i may buy 2 just because i am confident you will not be ready next saturday either( you spend too much time on RC instead of building) LOL

Don't laugh...but the shelf pieces didn't "match" the rock I bought...plus I couldn't really find a place for them. The Key Largo rock just really 'fits' together. Don't worry though, I plan on using that rock (still in the tote with a powerhead) in the refugium and frag system. ;)
 
Finally got my lighting done. I got tired of waiting so I just went ahead and did it myself. It's NOT the professional type job I wanted, but I think it will do.

The lighting looks nice. How big of a wave are you getting with 2 boxes? When did you become the tang police? I guess that's why you don't have any tangs in the tank lol.

Give it time brother. LOL I have room for 36 tangs in this tank...I've calculated it. :hmm4:

Once the tank is ready for them, I'll have a few. I don't have the waveboxes hooked up at the moment. The return was killing the wave and I can't fit the boxes on the return side to flow with the return. I'm in the process of possibly having custom boxes made to fit on either side of the overflow box. Either that or I'm going to go with Vortechs. (It's tax time lol)

No, this isn't the biggest tank I've had...it's the biggest one I've ever actually set up though. I bought a bigger tank a few years ago and never got water in it. I've always had 6 foot tanks other than that. 125, 180, 210.

You're trying to sell an MP40W and it's brand new? Pm me... ;) I might take that bad boy off your hands.
