3ft BB ULNS Tank

Outstanding Sps collection I have never seen anyone put togheter that many Sps in such a short time. I can wait to see what it looks like a year from now. I think my favorite is the large stag on the right.
Congrats

Michael

Thanks buddy, that looks like a good set of bulbs:beer: how are finding the growth with them?

Thank you Michael :) I know they were all put in rather quick (slapping myself on the wrist) but this whole tank has been running really well. As I've been adding pieces I've been upping dosage to what I thought would be about right and my levels have hardly shifted which has probably been a bit of a fluke at the same time. The lucky thing was mate that I've been collecting pieces for a while and storing them in my 4x4 until the tank was ready so I cheated a little there also  that stag is one of my favourites too the corallites are quite far apart and it's really different it's a really cool piece

Thanks again Scotty

Not a problem buddy and yes I think give that a go mate i think you would like it.
I haven't really noticed a lot of growth yet mate, the main reason for this bulb selection was for colour mainly but I really don't see growth as being a major issue :)

I had a look at some of the fts and I really like the color so I think I'll run with those bulbs for mine:beer:, they definatly get awesome colors from the corals that is for sure.
If you don't mine me asking Scott, what are some rough prices of the easier SPS frags.....just trying to prepare myself for all the money I'm going to spend filling the tank up:lol:.

I hope you didn't take my question the wrong way. Usually when I see a white acro like that, I'm thinking either it's bleached or it has met its' demise.

And yes, I'd like a close-up shot of it if possible!!

No mate I didn't take it the wrong way at all :) my friend took some awesome pics of it last night so I'll do an update for you later tonight when I knock off work :)

Scott those pics are AMAZING, love the white/blue tip one:inlove: and Spud is soooo beautiful:eek2:. I think once the SPS branch out a bit and gain a little height the tank will be a serious contender for TOTM...there you go I said it and when you do win it I can say that I predicted it:p...big words but I recon you can pull it off another one:beer:. The tank is stunning now and definatly one of my favorite smaller tanks:thumbsup:.

As if,one amazing tank wasn't enough for you.....you you buddy buddy:uzi:...you needed a second one!

Tank looks amazing scotty and corals are awesome!:inlove:
Their colors are simply amazing!

Spud looks real good!

Thanks Fishy but it wasn't my handy work with the camera it was a friend of mine and he's a very talented man :) Spud is a beautiful fish but we had to feed him to get him out for a photo  I'm extremely happy with how the tank is turning out but even when it grows I don't think it will be TOTM material my friend there are a lot more deserving tanks out there

Sorry Mike  but thank you my friend :lmao:
It is turning out exactly how I had it planned in my head and the colours are better than I thought they would be.

Spud is doing well and no mate he hasn't nipped a thing yet fingers are crossed still though :)

I've sent a lot frags to Reefing friends all around Australia and never asked for a thing in return but I've also done a few trades as well. Like you said buddy that's the meaning of our hobby and if you can't share with your mates who else is there to share with

Do you know what camera he used by any chance? Lol, what are you feeding him atm?
Your a modest man Scott:beer:. Hopefully I'll get TOTM one day but I'm not fussed if I don't, the joy my tanks bring to me is more than worth the trouble and expence to keep them going:)

I'm not sure on the specs on all his gear buddy but all I know is that he uses only Nikon. Mate I'm extremely grateful still to this day to have been chosen for the one TOTM :) I'm feeding Spud small krill as it's the only thing he seems to like, I've tried a lot of different types of foods but he shows no interest if it's not Krill the fussy bugger :lmao:

Hopefully you will mate I'll put my vote in for ya ;) but I totally agree the joy a tanks brings to me and my family is worth every single penny :)
