410 gal in wall build SW Florida

wow, it gets better and better seeing your tank and system progress. I look forward to seeing much more! Many blessings and lots of luck!

Added a few more fish. A pair of Black Ice Clowns and a beautiful Regal Angel. The Regal is in QT now but should be ready to go in the DT soon.

Thats awesome, my tank is similar but shorter at 23' high. Love those high ceilings in home. Congrats.

Nice yellow belly. I heard they're more hardier than the blue belly. Love the black ice too.

You have two fish that i love but have avoided getting due to their reputation of nipping at corals: the flame angel and regal angel. I wish you luck with them and hope your good experiences allow me to get them.

Thanks everyone. I am hoping that if I keep the fish well feed the coral nipping will be kept to a minimum. I should start adding corals in the next week or so, so wish me luck.

Just south of you in Ft Myers. Enjoyed reading through the build. Wont take long for all that rock to color up.

Had my first loss yesterday. Really bummed. Lost my Yellow Belly Regal. Had him for one week in QT and seemed to be doing fine until yesterday morning. When I got up he seemed to be breathing hard and was not moving very much. I knew there was trouble when I could put my hand in the tank and touch him. By the afternoon he was dead. I have no idea what caused it. He seemed very healthy to look at. No signs of any disease. I checked the water parameters and everything was perfect. I have never had a Regal before so I don't know if it was something I did or didn't do. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

I do have another shipment of fish coming in this morning so lets hope for the best. I'll post some pics of them later today or tomorrow.

Well that is a good thing and the reason we have QT's... Much rather have that happen there instead of the DT and something be dropped in.

Empty/cycle the QT and get ready for those fish being delivered today.

Sorry for the loss, but, glad you have it setup to isolate it.

That is one of my dream fish. Sorry for the loss. I thought they were one of the hardier ones but I guess it depends on how and where they are caught.
