435 gallon in wall see through easy sps

my emperor decide to munch on my crown royal zoa and fire and ice colony

now i have to separate my zoa/paly colony
and put it on my 14 gallon biocube @ work.....
i hope i will not regret keeping the emperor angel
 
i see your tank heigh is 29...any regrets in that high?

i currently have a 25 " high tank and trying to decide on either 27 or 28 high for the new one....

28" is better aesthetic
i had 30 " high before and i wish it was taller but due to electricity consumption i decided to run 250 watts dimmable than 400 watts so i get 29" instead.
 
It's official my emperor angel wipe out all of my colorful zoa colony but leave my common zoa alone. I also have to give my clams away because he nips at it and almost close out.
Waiting for two weeks if he do more damage if he doesn't I will get queen angel

I'd rather get rid of the angel than risk it eating more zoas/clams/whatever. 1 fish isn't worth removing or losing all that coral and stuff!
 
My Emperator eats everything. All lps , clams or anything with any meat to it has been moved to my sump long ago. He is a great fish, but most people would choose to keep them in a fish only tank as he grazes on everything.

i have a QT ready if he touch anything else .
i give away most of my zoa except for the common one that i don't mind losing
if he ever nips at my sps or lps he is good as sold
 
Some of my acro RTN again due to extreme heat wave in so cal my temp go as high as 82.7 I guess it's a bad timing to disconnect my underpowered 1/3 hp jbj chiller

I lose more large colony due to low alkalinity
And after adding another blue tang in the tank despite of a copper quarantine treatment and social acclimation my bully blue tang chase the new blue tang so much that cause it to have ick and contaminated my whole tank.:mad2:

I am not really concern about the ick because most of my fish are already immune to it in their own special way
my cleaner wrasse and shrimp will help my fish fight it off. I don't think I will loss more fish.
Also I am adding another wave box next week it can't wait.
