~450G Display (~1000G system) documentary starting

Just been tagging along till now, but that sucks!!

Majorly Sucks!

Sorry man. We'll still be here waiting when you get this resolved. I know if we're disappointed, you're about to pull your hair out.

Here's hoping for a fast and pleasing resolution!

Sorry to see that Keith, Shippers are bad about shipping aquariums. I bet 30% get damaged in shipping. Its ridicules. It looks like might have been made with that chip missing you can tell by examine the silicon. Most shippers are pretty good about paying you.

Yieks!

That sucks!!!

You got it from AO right?

What did they say?

Is it between you & the shipper, or is AO handling it?

Well as I figured AO is taking care of it. Great people and one of the reasons I went with them!

Here is what they sent me after I sent them the above pics.

"Keith
Boy what a mess. It looks like they used short forks and
the tank slide off. Send me the claim number and I will
get on the shipping compamy right away. We will order you
new glass and start on a tank for you as soon as we can.
Sorry about this.

John"

Now that is good customer service. i going to have to use them sometime.

I keep looking at that photo from the top. I canââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢t figure out exactly how that overflow box works. Ether something is missing their or im missing something. It looks like a partially clear box?

Glad to hear they are going to work it out for you, I am planning on order my tank from AO, sorry for your delay, that bites!

I really hope that things work out. Good thing you had the driver document the damage before he left. I hope that you or AO doesn't have to resort to legal action. I haven't had time hang out much around here since the birth of my son. I read thru the 10 or so pages that I have been deficient on.

I like what you did with the modification of the bike rack pulley. Trying to move the light rack is the biggest PITA for me with the balance of the weight on one side. Now I'll have to use that idea and change my string!

BTW, your stand is way over built!:D Hang in there buddy!

I'll be there Roland. I was going to go to IMAC but ended up having a meeting in Europe :(

OK I have nothing to report so here is some pics from my 20G!

Well, I'm still excited, even if you don't have a tank yet. You can get everything else ready so that when it arrives, you'll just plug it in and go!

Ok not a whole lot going on. The weather has been perfect so a lot of golf has been played :D

I did order and get in 100 lbs of Tonga branch. I also started putting actinic light over the rock I've had since Feb to color it back up some. I relocated the chiller housing outside and leveled it.

I know have over 400G running in the basement. I also got in a huge ventilation fan that fits in the window. It moves like 3000cfm and seemed a good compromise being cheap and I don't have to drill holes in the wall. Only thing is if there is a big storm I have to close the the window.

I talked to AO yeaterday and they said the new tank will be here in early June. Pretty crazy I'll be waiting on this thing for six months.

Anyway here are some pics of the rock. It was in great shape and the corraline coverage was excellent!

Here is a huge rock. It weighed over 40 lbs by itself! Roughly 20" x 14"

Good stuff. Can't wait for the tank!

Listen Keith,

I liked working on your tank. But did you really have to go and break it, so I could do it again :) Kidding.

I wish I was able to find this post earlier. I don't have a lot of time to browse and find everyones tank. I am very sorry that happened to you. It really was a nice tank. I can't wait to see your tank set up and running.
