48" hood

Unfortunately there are not a lot of options out there for you.

You can go with the Giesemann Spectra, which is a top of the line fixture, that you're also going to pay top of the line pricing for as well. The reflectors are good, although not real deep with a ton of spread. The intensity straight down is phenomenal though. Anything more than a 24" x 24" area per bulb might be somewhat pushing it for sps though unless you get the fixture really high up off the tank.

The second option would be a Hamilton Deluxe fixture which comes in a few different reflector options, as well as being able to be built with pc's, vho's, or t5's for actinic supplementation. The outer shell of the fixture is not as fancy and nice as the Giesemann, but you save quite a bit of money as well.

Thanks,
Jeremy

For the Hamilton 48" fixture with 2 x mogul socket assemblies, 2 x 4" fans, and 2 x vho endcaps you would be at $395 plus shipping. You would then be able to wire up any ballast / bulb combo you would choose.

Thanks,
Jeremy
