48x48x24 Starfire Tank. FS in about 2 months.

Just wanted to give the heads up to anyone near-bye that is in the market for a large tank.

My tank will be up for sale in about 6-8 weeks. It is obviously a custom tank. It is Starfire on 3 sides, minus the back. Overflow with dual 2inch drains and dual 1.5 inch outputs. Overflow box is smoked black and centered on the back glass. Euro-Braced. It is also drilled for a 1.5 inch closed loop.

This tank is super sturdy. It does have a minor scratch in the front pane near the upper left corner.

Lastly, if you buy please be prepared to move it out of my basement. This tank is something like 800 lbs of glass, so at least 3 people plus myself.

Not really sure about the price, but rest-assured I will post it here when I find the paper work from the tank.

Those of you who have seen this tank in person can attest to it's quality!!!

Minor change of plans. This tank can go anytime. Found a temp. home for it's inhabitants.

Paid $2400 total in June of 2003.
Asking $1500, or cash/trade for some 6100 Streams.

I was happy with Mitch's work (on time) also. I am surprised that no one has snatched up the 48x48x24.. Cool tank.. If I had the room or money ..

Is the new one also going to be glass?

The new one will actualy be a plywood/glass tank. It is going to be sorta in the wall, so I won't need the sides visable. Really looking forward to the project as it will give me some motivation to finish my basement!
