50,000 litre tank in a boutique hotel (Bangkok , Thailand)

The stem that the John Guest Fitting connects to is milled into the block. You can't replace that stem. The block itself would need to be replaced but not the entire pump. The controller, impeller and volute are fine. Since this was shipped to him from the reseller, the reseller needs to be contacted immediately as there is potential for a freight claim on the shippers freight account.

Will contact the reseller and will let you know what happens !!

Gah! I'm a bit disappointed I'm just now finding this thread. This tank has some great potential! Will there be just one aqua suite or will there be multiple? I have a college classmate who is from Thailand (pretty sure he lives in Bangkok). This would be another reason to visit him. Sadly I won't make the April grand opening... but maybe next April!

There will be just one aqua suite ! Please keep in touch and hopefully will be able to welcome you the next time you are in Bangkok !

Does the piece come out if it does then maybe they could just ship you that part (to Thailand [emoji1242] ) I would speak to them on the phone and email them those photos to see what they could do for you

Thanks for your suggestion ! If I were to keep the pumps then I will have to glue it back on and that will restrict the stem 's rotation . May be the best solution is to get replacement pumps from the seller . They are closed until Tuesday !!

Shipping.

Shipping.

Will keep you posted and will be seeking more advices if you don't mind . Thanks!!!

I bit concerned. Although I am in the states I hope this is not the case for the 4 x 230 watt red dragons I ordered.

I will make sure to take pictures of box before opening.

I wouldn't worry. RE USA double boxes the shipments that we ship to insure this doesn't happen. Granted our resellers may or may not double box but if you bought from somebody like Premium Aquatics or RE USA, you have nothing to worry about. RE USA is available 7 days a week for support. You are in good hands should there be an issue which is highly unlikely.

By the way, you guys will LOVE LOVE LOVE these pumps. I have of the RD3 230's on my system and they have been running since they were first released. They replaced much larger Reeflo pumps and these RD3's are absolute beasts. Silent at any speed, they run cold to the touch and produce much more flow than a Superdart Gold while consuming much less power. In fact, at 150 watts and a 6' head, they produce substantially more flow and when I put the Superdart Gold on my Kill-A-Watt meter, it was pulling 184 watts. At 0' head, they are still more powerful than a hammerhead and at 6', they are comparable and the HH Gold pulled nearly 300 watts compared to the 230's max consumption at an honest 230 watts.

Abyzz Warrenty is 10 years. I looked into ap400 for an 850 gallon. Love the optional burst modes and app controller for those wanting wave functions. Just had a hard time spending 1k more on pumps. I hope the red dragons do well for this 850 gallon build closed loop.
