What is the procedure you use when adding new fish to the display? Just add them at night and they blend right in? With so many fish, it seems unlikely that a new addition will get much attention at this point. Just curious.

Because there are so many fish , one can add at any time of the day , I normally add fish in the afternoon. There are no long chases only a few sporadic chase and then back to normal business.
Today I added a black tang and a starki tile fish at around 1 pm and no one seemed to pay any attention to the new additions so it was business as usual .

In the tank , I have a few yellow tang ,purple tang , a powder blue tang , Sohal tang , yellow fin tang and they seemed to get on quite well .
The little psycho xanthic undy trigger has been behaving well and not bothered any of its tank mates . So far so good !

On Friday I will be adding a 15 inch Bariene tang to the display tank and then on Sunday the aberrant scopa tang .

I have been following this build and love the fish collection you are adding to this tank, I have never seen black long nose butterfly fish, Specially this long spout, Looking forward to see more pictures of rare fishes you are adding to your collection..

Is there a chaetodontoplus conspicillatus ready for that tank? Or a Apolemichthys kingi? A Centropyge interruptus would be cool on the color side.

Didn't see a reply :spin1:

I did look into it but the acrylic is not facing the sun ray directly as the ray to go through sea water and get refracted into the acrylic . So it should be ok as I do not see any sign of yellow tint yet .

Amazing

Amazing

That's a first in my 20 years in this hobby "a school of conspics in a tank". Whats next a school of peppermints? Your tank is amazing and worth visiting. I was wondering how many fish you have in the tank now?

Not sure what the prices are there for a CB Conspic but if you contact Poma Labs (Matt i think) and tell them Ted K sent you, you can get one for $4,000 USD instead of the $5,000 USD they are charging everyone else. Any one who wants one can do this FWIW
