Closeit only reached 25.1 at the end of the period with the heater running the entire time! haha happy days with the Hamilton unit
this thing is amazing!!
That's a swing of 0.3 degrees C mate, amazing is no swing at all thanks to the 2.5hp reverse cycle air conditioner that is 4ft 4" away from the peninsula. I have calculated that the hole in the ozone layer forming directly above my house will allow me to start an outdoor coral farm sometime in the next few years. :beer:

haha I must admit both the ducting heating and the tank heater were on during this period so not too bad at not overheating :hmm3: Let me know when you start that coral farm, I'll come help with my SPF 10,000 :beachbum: due to being a redhead and probably just bursting into flames if not enough SPF's are used :blown: :angryfire:

Absolutely! Placed the order middle of last week. Should be shipping out this Monday so hope fully it should be up and fired in about 10 days :bounce3: Added three 250Rs to the same order since the standard bulb shipped with the C-Sun is a 14K Hamilton and we all know that just won't do :idea: Just need to sort out the T5 combo, going to order some 80W ATI so that I have all the pieces of the puzzle on hand when it comes time to do the deed.

Yeah I'm really happy that there's such a small variation in temp when the house sits at 20 degrees with ducted heating and the tank heater on! Hopefully that will translate into not needing the chiller running all the time during summer!

Very nice mate, if you were unimpressed by your leds you're going to be absolutely blown away by MH/T5 :blown: I loved my led's and once these went up my jaw hit the ground, it's such an awesome lighting type to have!

You will love it, I'm stoked with the unit (as I keep saying :inlove
lol. It's just a really well thought out and designed unit that works to do what it needs! The fans while noisy keep the unit much much cooler than I was expecting so it's a huge help with those, for the trade-off of a little noise.As the lovely Andrew say's Blue+ and Coral+ seem to be the way to go but given how blue I like my lights to look I am also considering super actinic and blue or coral+. We'll see what I think once I have the 14K Hamilton swapped to a 20K Radium and go from there!

Btw, after i re wire your light unit i insist on you being the one to actually throw the switch for the test fire, i will be on hand with a fire extinguisher in case you go up and Kevin knows CPR so don't stress mate :thumbsup:

10.30ish sounds good to me mate. I don't think Ecotech would be too troubled by our little halide group mate, if our acros look crappy they just look crappy but with a Radion you can have a lightning storm over your crappy acros - no one can compete with that.............:reading:
