That's an amazing tank. What are you dosing and what's your regimen.
Ah! Okay thenNo, Dom, that's the stuff. The version I have is 1 drop per 250g.. So, that's what you got.. I was using a drop a day in my system but the cyano enjoyed it a lot more than my corals, I think. With my nutrient levels, I'm not adding any aminos.
It is excellent for lower nutrient systems..
It contains no aspartic acid.. But has a very comprehensive list of aminos..
You could maybe mix it with RO water to dilute it..
Thank you for the compliment! That's an amazing tank. What are you dosing and what's your regimen.
Yep, I like to tinker lots but I've always found that the basics tend to win out!-
You're getting a lot a bang for your buck as far as dosing goes. Fairly
basic with excellent results.

I've been told that dosing works better when it's more at longer intervals for sponge power, so rather than do the daily dose I just the same amount of drops weekly but in three larger doses rather than seven smaller ones. Does that make sense?I am going on my 3rd month on zeovit. I dose sponge power everyday. Should I cut back. My tank is awful right now. brown everywhere and I am losing coral. my Ca,alk,mg are in line. Any ideal what might be going on.
Digging is an understatement!! I love the colours they're giving and I do not regret the switch at all! However 2 pure actinics make the light a little too purple for my liking so I'm swapping to 1 pure actinic, 1 lagoon blue and 2 actinic plus bulbs! I love the way they look with the Radium on but then again I ADORE the Radium hahaAre you diggin the new gieseman bulbs? I'm really liking the color of the Actinic Blue over my ATI blue plus, they provide a much more deep color and match much better to my 20k radium. Did you see the thread about the par dropoff after 100hrs though, that seems to be the downfall of this par. Hopefully it's just a isolated incident.
Cheers Ryan :beer:Very cool Dom
hahaha you're not doing it right if someone doesn't hate you for it :lolspin: thanks for the compliments Mike  the SSC is gorgeous, I'm absolutely in love with it!Well congrats dom...if that was your goal...you succeeded...i hate you too
Such beautiful colors and healthy corals!
Especially that SSC felt like a dagger threw my heart, you heartless aussie
Welldone bud,tank looks awesome!
Won't say anything,regarding the zoas,this time![]()
No problemsI understand that and will try it starting today. Thanks for all your help.
WWBD? Why ask anyone else?

There was a reef guru around here who stated that a cr would take your tank in such an upper level that it would fly mate
So if that's the case you should definitely bite the bullet bud!
Joking aside it's up to you.
Since you already have the reactor, peristaltic, etc you won't have to spend money and time.
I'm a believer of the saying "if it's not broken why fix it" you know but trying/changing things in our tanks keeps us motivated,so why not do it bud.
Can't see a downside.
Both methods are good enough and each one has it's advantages and disadvantages.
I'm sure you already know them.
I say go for it
....i'm sure that's what you wanted to hear lol
That little push that we all need as a final push to take a decision...
I need that push to put sand back again in the tank lol lol lol...can't lol enough
Both work really well and they've both been proven over the many years, I just need a good push to do it haha it's not because I don't like 3-part but a CaRx is something I've always wanted to give a go and even though it may not be as practical on my system as it's only small, I think I'd work a little better with one. Thanks for the push guys, I think I just need to get off my bum and get a regulator and solenoid to run this bad boy.^^ what the Greek Creepy Reef God said..
I have always used ca reactors... Always. Never had a fail.. (Knock on wood) I've had a regulator stop or issues with regulating water flow.. But dosers present the same issues..
Size of tank may be the deciding factor. Large tanks are cheaper to run with reactors, long term because the media is cheaper. With a smaller tank, you aren't burning through as much liquid product...
Tough decision.. Clearly either works perfectly.
Awesome! Thanks for that, I appreciate you asking that for me MattBy the way, Dom, I was speaking to the owner of Polyplab.. He's an old business partner and current supplier of mine. He said that diluting the colors in RO water is perfectly fine.
WWBD? Why ask anyone else?

hahaha Marty you didn't kill it and I did get the WWBD too :lolspin: I've been away so I haven't had a chance to reply till now!Rangy, So sorry I killed your thread. FYI,WWBD = What Would Biggles Do. I really don't know what he will say. But it might help if your calcium reactor was NASA approved.
Marty
Along with my wrasse and firetruck too  I'm just curious about how'd the tank would change and especially so if I'm going to continue planning on adding a frag tankI would give the calcium reactor to my mate biggles, that's what biggles would do Marty - with a full tank of CO2........![]()
