well usually she sits on the clam but of course as soon as the camera came out she was off to the frag rack :mad2: still love that they perch there though! Haha the colours are all off and there's a weird haze, not as nice as I'd hopedYeah yeah terrible....i hate you humble guys

I'm curious what your ca-kh levels would be if you took out the clam!It's huge

Haha they'd be through the roof! I've still yet to find the right Ca consumption rate for the tank as it's fairly high for me lol used to dose 25ml a day and I'm now at 55ml and the Ca level is still 290-300ppm :fun2: so it's been bumped up and we'll test again haha I have some proper pics of the fish to come though!

Yeah it's terrible :thumbdown haha I'm getting it back up. I've noticed that some of the skeletons on two or three acro's are a little weak but the rest are fine and strongwow,300ppm??Damn clam
I bet it's responsible for at least 50ppm,lol
Dom,how hard are your sps skeletons at this level?Have you witnessed anything regarding that?

still get decent growth but it'll be better once it's back to normal haha

This if you Mike and to make up for the quality of the video haha I took some nice photos of the fish while complaint avidly about being hungry even after being feed three times in ten minutes haha
My lovely new make hawk, still going strong and colourful!
My beloved bellus angelfish, she hand feeds and is just a wonderfully happy fish!
This little one has grown quite some since I got her the lovely little black ear wrasse (halichoeres melasmapomus)
And of course the newbie! She (I've decided lol) was way too stressed in the acclimatisation box so it was into the tank and she's still shy but was put each time I feed after lunch today (three times or so) and happily swims around the tank if you stand still while watching we're getting there haha

When i had a bad test kit(giving me 440 when it was 280) most of my acros growth tips where sooo fragile that when i squeezed them,they where like dust-ashes.
But their inner-deeper parts where stronger.

If i let you keep my black ear wrasse that you were holding for me can i have the new tang please mate. And i don't care if Dave has another couple for sale as you would have picked the best one so i want you to give me the tang you picked out for me.............
I normally only do this for Attenborough when his guys stuff up the video on a once in a lifetime animal doco event and he wants some saturated bling added......

Yeah, there's a couple of them that have some softer tips but most of them seem to be unaffected by it.lol,that's for sure buddy!

He is such a character, they both are and they're awesome fish to have too

haha I did choose the best one, I'll have to keep both of them for a while though to make sure they're okay for you and healthy, although they do seem to be growing attached so there might be some separation issues
Well the bling looks good haha makes it look a little better I must say, for some reason the custom white balance didn't want to work in the video even though it was the exact same for the pics I took under the same lights
ah well I'll get the hang of it soon :spin2:

It's really coming along nicely, I'd still love to get the 3ft running but we might be moving so Radium Reef is on hold lolSame white balance setting but for some reason it just turns to **** when on video mode haha I don't know why, I'm sure if I had a proper look and play around it would be a lot better but that was a really quick effort!

I have no idea lol I still live at home while I'm at uni so I'm at the mercy of my parents :headwally: we're currently preparing the house for sale and doing mass cleans and such but there's no date or time that we're looking to list so who knows and then it also depends on if they can find something new lol Part of me simply wants to move in with my girlfriend but she's renting so if I did, I would be doing a mass downsize and probably just moving to zoa's and encrusting monti's with mostly inverts because it also depends on where my parents want to move to.
So for the moment Radium Reef is completely stalled
