gdubb those look like crosshatch pair...you spent some money on some of these fish didnt you

Actually I met a collector in Hawaii and he sold me the pair for 100ea since the male had a scratch on the side....its healed now. :)

Beautiful tank, I am very jelous.

If you dont mind me asking, did you experience many fatalities with your stock?, because if I stocked mine that fast I would bet that I would be left with a lot of dead fish.

no, none yet, I used 50/50 cycled water and LR...but I am having trouble getting the clown tang to eat...big surprise...they sent him to me instead of the blue tang I ordered so I had to go get a blue tang locally. I had the clown tang in the sump and he would eat while he was alone...but I cant really tell if he is eating now that he is in the main tank.

be careful with the clown tang in there, i had one in my tank with a sohal and everything was fine for about a week and a half. then out of no where the sohal went mad and pinned the clown tang into a corner until it starved to death

thanks more friend is about to buy a 390 with a 125 g sump so i am trying to see how much that think will cost lol..you tank is looking better all the time.

turbo, i am thinking about setting up a tank and sump almost exactly like this, how much do you think you paid for the whole thing. thanks

thats actually good news, i was thinking it would be more, plus i live closer to to glass cages then 20vturbo so i would save a good penny on shipping

I was wondering if you still like the limestone substrate. You mentioned it is very fine. Is it finer than Aragamax aragonite?

I just priced aragonite at Foster and Smith and for a DSB over 4" it will cost me $390! I was thinking of maybe mixing it with the limestone to get some benefits of the aragonite (buffering, trace elements etc) but lowering the cost by adding the limestone.
