I got it from home depot. Its just like the GREAT STUFF foam that is yellow...only its black. I asked one of their associates where I would find the black stuff that is exactly like the GREAT STUFF foam and the guy had no idea what I was talking about and said they didn't have anything like that...even though a friend of mine bought some from them earlier...found it outside near the landscaping...so it might be something new that HD is going to carry...or I could have just gotten lucky

Your aquascape looks terrific. I am really impressed how good the backdrop looks and what it adds to the look of the tank. Look forward to more updates as your progress continues.

Great pics! That is the best background that I have seen. The horizontal runs are brilliant. The foam at HD is really expensive! I bought a huge 20 oz. can of landscape black foam from from my LFS for $13. The website is www.touch-n-foam.com hopefully you can find a dealer.
Looking forward to more progress!

curious about the water level in your sump..is there room to handle what will drain down if power is shut off so as not to flood the floors?

How do you like the limestone? It looks nice and white. In the store it appeared a little gray to me.
I like the limestone but it is really really fine and seems to create a sand storm pretty easily.

yes the sump will have plenty of room for overflow

right now I am trying to figure out how I am going to power all my stuff for the tank....I know NOTHING about house wiring and my house is a 2 story to top it off. the 15A fuse won't stand a chance with this list :( not to mention the DC8 I have may not hold the total amps or the chiller...hmmm...

I had the achilles for about 6 months. Oh and just so I don't freak anyone out the stocking was done over a week or so....I didn't throw them all in at once.

I thought Triggers were not reef safe, like they eat everything. What kind do you have?

they are crosshatches.
