I think height is the key. If you can find tall rocks, or stackum goodly, it gives you more to work with. I have a lot of rock in my tank, and I have room to fit the glass cleaner around the whole tank, with no rock on the glass, and still hide 2 K3's and a K4. What shocks me even more is that I used to have THAT much rock in a 33g, before I upgraded!!!

Excuse the quality on the pic... I just took it with my BBerry.

This is my 55gal it took me a few times to get it right, but I final have it where I want it. Very little of the rock touches the glass, it comes out from both corners and makes like a U. There is 40lbs of live rock and about another 40 to 50 pounds of reef bone. There is plenty of space for fish to hide behind the rock, and caves. The tank isnt that old, so Im sorry there isnt a lot to look at. Im just taking my time adding things to my tank to make sure things arent going to go crazy. Hope you like and it helps.

A 55g is a challenge to aquascape. I have that wall of rock that 90 percent of us have.I have been toying with the idea of re-aquascaping for several months but I can not bring myself to do it. I know it will be a nightmare trying to place the corals once I move the rock.

...

Ditto! I had a wall of rock in my tank.... After several tank moves, the rock began migrating away from a wall to a more horizontal position, as it became hard to reposition the rocks in a way that wouldn't crush the corals that were growing. Now I have several areas of the tank where the rock or a coral nearly touches the walls, making it very hard to clean.

I am too embarrassed to post a full tank shot right now :)

all of yalls tanks look great!!! tnks for the help!! Yall have def given me some ideas, now i just need to take the time to remove all the coral and actually re-scape....ohhh btw, just added a mated pair of clowns a few days ago...seem really happy, just been camped out under my k4...i doubt they like all the flowwwwww
