55 Gallon Stand / Canopy

This tank is going to be a Tanganyikan Cichlid tank that my wife is going to put in her 4th grade science class...

I tried my best to model this after the 180 gallon setup in the DFS catalog (the one with the sweet blue acro on the cover)

As you can see... the construction is complete... but the project is far from over. All in all... I have $120 into the stand/canopy so far.

Please pardon the annoying white spots in these pictures... I think my camera is on the way out....

nice work and I imagine the only thing your camera needs is a good cleaning, those spots are dust.

Yeah.. thats what I said. I missed this sale at Petco but luckily a fellow reefer here in Houston didnt and sold this to me for what he paid for it! I originally wanted to setup a 30L for my wife's classroom but when you can get a 55 for the price of a 30... why not, right!?

I looked at my lense and it was pretty dirty... thanks for the advice

glad to hear that, but if the problem persists you might need to clean it on the inside.
