LOL!!!

You just can't seem to make up your mind on what you want!!!! :)

i have no idea how the heck to plumb this tank in the first place, im sump retarded. i would need to make an overflow box or something. i have no idea what to do for the cls, i just basically got ****ed and said screw it

well first of all, ive never plumbed a tank in my life, i have no idea what to do as far as plumbing goes, and the cls?? i basically got ****ed and said screw it . the only thing i know how to do is silicone the bulkheads on, after that im completly lost.

If you come to the club meetings we can help you out - thats how I learned. I can give you rides most of the time. The cost of the club dues will be saved a hundredfold of lost time ,energy, $$, etc.

nvm, picked up all the plumbing parts today with the help of a friend, and doing a little research online, i think i got the hang of it now, its actually not that difficult!, stuff no longer for sale LOL

if you need an overflow box i have a homemade one that just needs a little touchedup i could give you let me know.

Would it hurt your feelings if I told you that you don't use silicone on bulkheads... all you need is the gasket :)

Glad to see you jumped back in with both feet.

FWIW I usually use a hammer when I have a tantrum... that way I ensure that I my actions are permanent. Not so bad this month... LTO Tape drive and SCSI card (could not figure out which was giving me the grief, so they both got it. And, one 24 port managed switch that turned into an RMA nightmare was shown the frustration hammer. Sadly, the prepaid UPS label for the switch arrived yesterday (4 weeks late). I am tempted to put the "parts" in the box and send it anyway.

Let us know what you need help with...

clarkii,
We live pretty close. I am really busy until the 1st of the year, but after that I can help you out. Let me know.

ok well tank is back up for sale for good this time, im going bigger and sumpless, so here goes.....

euro reef RS80 skimmer - $170
58g oceanic w/ glass top/strip light, with 4x 3/4" and 1x1" drilled holes, bulkheads in place - $150
20gL sump - $40
all plumbing pieces, 3/4" elbows, pvc primer/cement,1" elbows, unions, ball valves, pvc pipe, lockline, etc etc - $30

this needs to go ASAP! my pm box finally works now

where is Gibsonia?

What's the deal with the ramp baffle?

Could you measure each section so i know if my skimmer will fit?

i think the way your tank is drilled there are two 1" drain and one3/4" for the inlet of your crl pump and the other two 3/4" are for your crl return, that's pretty advance.all you need is some pvc and a mag 7 for your crl and a mag12 for your return from you sump.check to see if your skimmer fits inside you sump, and you're good to go.good luck

decided to keep the skimmer, $250 for all, skimmer excluded
heres the plumbing that i have done before i decided to sell
