Time for a few updates:
Laurence, yes its a pink tail. I have had him quite a while. He changes color a great deal, some days he is a very pale olive with a black eye stripe, then others a deep lustrous green. Of all my fish he is has the most personality and actually appears to follow my movements around the room. He also like to affectionately bite my fingers on the assumption that if it is in the tank its for him to eat.
If my hand is in the tank, he leaves me alone, but a finger...irresistible. Probably due to me feeding him shrimp.
The clown tang is doing fine. He still does not eat prepared foods, only algae, but he is fat and happy. With tanks the size we have there is plenty of grazing space.
George: the tang-tainer has two pvc pipe runners that extend out from the top and they hang on my tank bracing at the side and the middle. You are welcome to borrow mine. Should you build one, have at least one clear side- acrylic- so the fish can clearly see each other.
In the last two weeks I added over 30 new corals to the tank. Most are small but a few are decent sized. Ill get some pictures posted soon.
Paul.
