600 gallon NEW BUILD

Looking good.
I really like the aquascape. Question tho, do you think the 8 radions will be enough for the footprint?

Corey

This is what was recommended by Ecotech (who want to to sell the max units). I placed them over the tank and I couldn't fit another row if I wanted to....so YES!

I had to calculate the average retail of the radions by how many you have and I was forced to take a Tylenol. Though I'm sure you didn't pay retail, still! Ouch!

Should look absolutely incredible though when the spectrum and intensity is all dialed in. Coral will be very happy!

Can't wait to see how this develops

Ricardo, that is good to know. I ask because they suggested 6 for my tank and it is half your size. 48/48/24. I also was more curious about the shading that might come into play.
What are your coral plans for the tank? LPS/SPS?

Mixed reef;
SPS on top and LPS mid level and Softies on the bottom.
I do plan on very heavy flow mid to high levels.(3000gph from my returns and about 15,000 from powerheads)...might have to dial that down a bit...we will see.

Very nice build! I like how well thought out everything is! Can wait to see this once you have it up and running!

finished my 2 -50 gallon RO top-off tanks...plumbed together for 100 gallons under the DT.
Side supports so they do not get kicked out of position.I'll probably have enough leaks to contend with without worrying about these!

Both Qt tanks are in,Apex up and running (to be mounted after I see what wire mess I have to manage)
The QT tanks will each have their own sumps for water level control, because I will be filling with DT water every day.

My office view. The tank is now cycling, water still a little cloudy from suspended sand particles. The side shelf unit on the right is actually a secret door to my equipment room from my office.(don't tell anybody..it's my safe room)I will black out the rear once things are further on and I do not have to view things from the rear.

Everything is running as I want.Main pump moved outside.(nice and quiet) 8 Radions are up and programmed as is the apex for the Ecotech pumps and the rest. Both QT's on the right with their own systems. They are dripped into from the "waste" from the Genesis renew (on the left wall). Two reactors set up on the same wall.LifeReef skimmer waiting to come to life.A/C keeping the room nice and cool and my 2 exhaust fans keeping things dry.

Wow, I hadn't seen the pics from end of Dec. And now the new ones... this is really looking good! Everything is so clean and nice looking... make sure you keep it that way! :0)

That is the intention.I will still need to clean up the wires with cable runs once I know where everything goes.
