600 Gallon Upgrade Build

I'm curious on the DC pumps too. I think they work perfect for applications involving little head pressure. Is that right? Or do they handle that too?

Yes. But the thing that intrigues me is how it ramps up until it reaches its final operation speed which you choose. I don't think it'll work with penductors or eductors. Or with manifolds.

Well not much of an update. Well I guess you could say its an update. I set up the storage container for my fresh RO/DI.

It is setup to be gravity fed into the new saltwater mixing container which I will plumb up later.

Both containers max out at about 275 gallons each. Oh yea both have been given a thorough bleach and vinegar bath. Looks like I will have to upgrade my RO/DI unit.

OK are you using your computer or that taptalk item again?

If taptalk can you check to see if there is a setting to turn off/on html formatting.

On those water storage containers. How do you empty/wash them out?

Is the hole large enough? Or do you use the rider of the pink bike and throw her in it?

You know it's weird. I only have the problem on reef central with Tapatalk. The other forums don't have the same conflicts here. So I have fix the problem on the computer. Also in the http on my settings was setup in safari and not in app so I changed it to see if it'll work now.

There is a screw on top on the containers. I took my hose and filled both up, added bleach and vinegar and let them sit for a few days and then air dried them both. Didn't use the rider and the wholes were big enough.

Just edited this reply and I am still having the same problems.

There has to be a setting in taptalk for one forum or another... You know what...

Delete this forum and just re-add it.

Well if you make up salt water in one and heat it up it is possible that it will precipitate out into the walls of the canister. If you do not notice this at all and just continue to use it you might get diatoms or other nasty's.

I am looking for one that I can take the lid off and clean out. (yeah even a power washer will work but I will probably use a car wash brush.)

Like this:

That is a 120g version though. They have smaller too.

Darn sorry... I just saw the pictures... I guess you must have fixed them after I posted my reply earlier this morning.

That works nicely... How big is that lid again??

This is good... I do not have the connections you have for plutonium enriched storage containers.

What do you think about the ones I posted??
