UUugh leroy...
Yes take it to the pro's and tell them exactly where to drill it. I know it is a few $$....
When you come up I'll let you help me on my tank, as long as you don't handle any power tools, I think I will be fine.

I have listened. Well sorta. But my sports career(what little sports career I did have) has been put to a close. Docs said I won't be able to ever run or play basketball again and if I should choose to my knees won't last ten years. Bad part is the arthritis has already kicked in on my knees and will need to be cleaned out periodically.
so everyone can see!
I can definitely see that the third time is not a charm.

I do NOT want you with a power tool when you come over to see my tank... I will install a metal detector at the door, for then.
It looked like it was a safe area, not too close to any edge. If you try again you should get some some practice glass sheets. I drilled my 220g.
Wayne, I'm not sure if it's breaking from too much speed, or too much pressure, but why not practice making another hole or 2, since that piece is ruined anyway
Thanks Al but I am professionally retired from drilling holes.
Hey... This is a family channel.
I have a 120 that I am going to drill three in for a beananimal overflow. Maybe I can bring you out of retirement when you are down and see if we can get that part started too.
I have an overflow box already ready.. just need to silicone it in.
I say make another attempt at drilling! Surely you won't make the same mistake again?!
Wayne, just remember defeat is a temporary thing. Only giving up makes it permanent.
your bit may be crappy, or your lube isn't good, or there's not enough lube, or your technique needs improvement. Yes, I'm talking about glass drilling.
