No pressure. eh?

The pipes coming on the side of the filter socks?
Sorry I left a word out. It looks like you have a lot of open space in the room that the tank will be in. Are you planning on setting up your qts in there and kind if making that the fish room?
I'm in awe of the build of that tank. In case of an earthquake, take shelter under that behemoth...but looks like your dog has you beat.
Congrats on getting your dream tank...wishing you smooth sailing from here on in.
Wayne are the returns over the top of the tank? Did you not want them drilled in the back pane?
Fast worker you are, I'm still waiting for a piece from savko to plumb mine.

It still looks like there is room to place them on side or center braces... They also come with 'brackets' that should be adaptable to most situationsI originally wanted to do the sea swirls but when I changed the design of the tank, the bracing eliminated that idea.

But going by the measurements of the sea swirls I am off an inch.
As long as you are 'hard plumbing' it with PVC, with some support under it, it should be fine even with it 'overhanging' the lip a little
Is that off your tank?
I have to see if he's in and get it for you. Besides I have to see your setup in person.
Looks great! We have nearly identical tanks. Mine is 4'x8'x2' tall as well. It's a great footprint. We have somewhat similar sumps as well. My sump is about 90G and my Fuge is about 90G as well. Looking forward to seeing yours setup!
Are you going to brace that stand in the middle areas along the long sides? My stand which is drywalled in was built similarly but we packed it with studs in the center where my door opening are and along the ends just to insure there was no sag or anything as it's a lot of weight. The horizontal runs under the tank are 2x8's along the edges and 2x4's and 4x4's spanning below the tank. The again, I also live in earth quake country so we built it strong enough to park a semi truck on it.
Don't discount those Seaswirls. I've been running them on my tank for well over 10 years now and absolutely love them. They are great for creating random surface movement and currents along the top areas of the tank. I also have two Tunze 6205's and a 6105 running off my Apex creating waves and random chaos. I have spectacular flow in my tank between those Tunze's and the SeaSwirls running off my return pump.
