Dude I can't even compete with your videos. Why do you have to put me on blast like that?
I added the temporary light over the tank. It's an ATI 6 bulb fixture.

Great videos. I didn't realize that it was 29 of them until I was at #10. I will have to finish them later. I like that your fish room has wood floors. Great looking fish.
The plumbing looks awesome
Wayne: I am by no means an expert. In my previous systems ( 6 years ago 180g & 320g see pg 9 of my thread!!) I used CR without its own pH probe. On a timer that shuts off the CO2 tank at night. Monitored the tank pH and Alk closely. Was using Neptune at the time.
My new 500g (http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2347859) I am using APEX and CR with its own pH probe (pHx4) and the commands noted below for the CO2 tank, that I am testing as of few days back ONLY, and everything is good so far. This am tank pH is 8.2 and CR pHX4 at 7.0. Lowest pH4 over 3 days was 6.84. Hope that helps Wayne .. Not long period with new setup to confirm how effective it is. I like gadgets but I do not think we need a second pH probe, even though it came with my CR, the simpler the better,,,
Fallback OFF
If Time 20:00 to 06:00 Then OFF
If pH > 07.90 Then ON
If pH < 07.65 Then OFF
If pHx4 < 06.50 Then OFF
If ORP < 350 Then OFF
Well 1st setback with calcium reactor. I set it up with a drip rate every 8 seconds and had a nice slow drip going into the sump.......until I smelled something burning. I run to the back and there was a small flood. Couldn't find the leak as the surge protector blew up and cut off the power to the calcium reactor, peristaltic pump, and co2. Now the trouble shooting begins.
