I went to clean my 6025 nano stream and took out the impeller to find this. I tried to re insert it but now my pump doesnt work without loud rattling/humming. Is this covered under the tunze warranty? Is there a way to fix it?
heres a pic
another question:
my 6045's front plastic peice wont stay snapped in and continually falls off so I had to use a small zip tie so it wouldnt. Is this normal with age? I have 2 others that dont have that problem however this one is the oldest of them all.
I have a similar problem that I just discovered with my 6045, except the metal rod snapped in half and is doing an excellent job of RUSTING! The rattling/humming is what led me to investigate
im not sure but my shaft might be short too. the impeller seems short in the housing.
Jarhead, whats the address for TUnze usa, what dept? attn who? more info would be appreciated. is not having a purchase order ok? Im not sure if kept it.
It is covered. This is a problem that occurred in the earlier models but has been corrected. Please send it in to the address that Steve provided and we will replace the motor block for you. Also send us the suction housing as well so that we can have a look at that as well.
Nothing but the best customer care from Tunze. I received my pump yesterday and its perfect. Thanks again Roger, Steve and Rodney for your help. This is why I tell everyone you cant beat Tunze products. The company stands behind their products and you dont find that too often these days.
