6025 nanostream pumps reverse...?

I have a nanostream I bought from premium aquatics a couple weeks ago. Sometimes when plugging it back in it tends to pump backwards. So I have to unplug/plug it back in. Is there something I can do to fix?

in my experience my 6025s self correct after 5-10 seconds. Obviously I can't speak for all 6025s, I'm sure Roger will know for sure.

Try taking it apart and cleaning the magnet. At times there is excess lubricant on it from when packed

As Shawn said, they do a factory test run and use a small amount of vaseline for the test. If they use too much it acts like glue and sticks the drive unit in place. Take the drive unit out, be careful not to lose the stainless steel washer underneath it. Wipe off any excess vaseline. They normally start backwards and reverse to the correct direction very quickly.
