6025 on timer

Can you put a 6025 on a timer so that it only comes on a few minutes and then off a few minutes? Would this kill the pump?

If it was switched that fast, yes, but you can use a timer and switch it off and on every 15 minutes minimum, the longer the run time the better and it will chatter on start up.
