6045 reverse flow and c-clamp breaking

I have a 6045 that is not more than 6 months old, and when I stop and restart it the flow is reversed and I have to keep unplugging and plugging to get it to go into forward flow. I read about someone else having this problem and they received a new prop assembly. The c-clamp also just broke on me. Who can I contact about how to fix this? Thanks.

my buddy's 6045 does the same thing. he's had it for around a year now and it's done it from day one. It's kind of frustrating. The clips are known for breaking after awhile, I recommend you always have spares lying around just in case.

The old style clips were known for breaking but the new revision that has been out for some time do not break. All of the problems that the earlier model nanos had have been rectified and are covered under warranty and all are fixable.

Spining backwards can have a few causes, out of the box it may have some vasaline on it from the test run. This will hinder the impeller from being able to popout at start up to right itself. If has been in operation a while then started spinning backwards sounds like the disk(washer) needs replaced or changed out. there has been some changes over time as was found the orginal plastic washer would wear against the plastic on the drive unit has since been changed to stainless and now to graphite if I recall. This also could cause wear on the drive unit(impeller)

If it has been like this from day one and has been going on long term the impeller could have a defect. Either way, it is under warranty
