6055 not working

Roger,
I have 2 nanostream 6055 pumps that have just stopped working. I rinsed both in vinegar, one started to work after cleaning, the second one runs for a few seconds then performs the automatic shut down for 20 seconds, starts, and continues with this cycle. The impeller housing and the drive assembly are clean, I see no calcium deposits and did a second vinegar rinse just to be sure. Not sure what is going on. The pumps are 2 ½ years old.

Also, they have been running on continuous flow without a controller. Never on pulse mode.

When you soaked them, did you soak the impeller as a separate part? The key area to clean is the metal shaft in the pump and the hole in the middle of the propeller assembly, you can generally only get these parts clean if the pump is soaked after disassembly.

Yes, everything was taken apart and soaked as per the instructions. Everything appears clean and free of any deposits.
