6085 not working

I bought the 6085 and put it in service December 2012. At first the problem was too much flow for my 4 ft long 120 gal tank. Fine sand blowing all over. Tried some angles that helped. Lower placement shooting up and over but still a lot of flow. Before I could come to any solution on flow, the flow disappeared almost completely. A little trickle. Looks like the impeller blade is chipped. no apparent calcium build up. it has been out of service sitting on a shelf since January.
Still a warranty issue? Thinking about trading for less flow pump but hate to give someone else this problem. Please advise.

If the ends of the propeller are broken, it will spin backwards and the flow is then diffuse and exiting the intake. On start up, if backwards the prop flies forward and hits stop tabs on the front cross hatch and this corrects the direction, when broken they can clear these tabs. The best overall solution is probably a 6060.120 prop, this smaller prop would shave about 600gph off the flow and would work.

I have had the replacement part #6060.120 installed and running for a few weeks. Excellent recommendation. Solved my problem. Thank you again.
I now call upon your expertise to recommend my next Tunze pump. I want to phase out my 2 Korrila 1400's and add a controllable, leaving the 6085 in place for now. As a reminder I have a single corner flow 120 gal. 48 X 24 X 24Your thoughts?

The 6095's are the way to go for that size tank, the flow is more gentle and it is controllable so you can go down to about 500 gph.
