60g gig cube

Thanks everyone. I'm diggin it :)

Hmm... I have had a handful of new additions disappear within a day or so of adding them. I don't have much of a cuc either.

2" Panther grouper
3" filefish
3" red lizard blenny
3" diamond goby
And a couple others that I can't think of right now. Swimming, eating, and looking just fine. The next day they are gone...??? Lol

Ive got a yellow tang, flame angel, mandarin, two evansi anthias, royal gramma and my clown pair. Im worried mostly about the mandarin, flame angel and tang getting to close. I saw your thread in the for sale section and if I knew for a fact that the nem wouldnt eat my fish I would have been interested in it. You have some really nice looking nems

Funny, my Haddon's ate several fish in short order, but I have not seen any losses from my gig...

Oh, and nice tank Jon - love the layout and gigs, plus the Eibli angel (one of my favorites)!

Haddoni eat just about anything they can catch, and I mean anything:) Odds are not good for your wife's fish. But I love these guys.

Very nice gig tank!

Your multi color is very similar to mine, except on my gig colors are purple, blue and green.
Tentacles are long, fat and tightly packed on mine too, it might be perhaps a trait of multicolored gigs. My neon green on the other hand has thin and long tentacles.

On my next gig tank I'll try to introduce a harem. As long as there are enough anemones, fighting should be minimal or non existent.

you know, i have always heard that haddoni are much more likely to eat fish then gigs. apparently healthy fish just vanish overnight in my tank on a regular basis though. lol honestly, i think there are several contributing factors. the gigs cover aprox 1/3 of the rock. i think some new additions are not used to them, brush up against, and the rest is... nem poo. lol

zooman 72, eibli are one of my favorite angels as well. great addition, except for occasionally picking at my euphyllia.

clorox, i think i would go with a larger tank and at least twice as many clowns, if i was to do it again. actually, i probably will when i upsize the nem tank. lol

pic of my newest addition the purple gig....

the purple gig still looks awesome!!!

picked up a blood red mini carpet nem today. i'm really diggin this guy. poor quality pic of an awesome nem :)

i also picked up a bleached purple haddoni. it has a tight mouth, very sticky, and i think has a lot of potential. got it for an awesome price, and decided to give it a whirl.... i'll update as time goes on.
