6105 programming

thirst

I have 2 6105s on my tank. They are opposite each other. What's a typical programming algorithm?

For a while, I had them alternate for 18 seconds on 12 seconds off. Should I instead have them alternate at much faster intervals? Say 1.2 seconds on 1.2 seconds off?

Where can i find more information on what kind of set up is advisable?

Thanks!

Slower intervals, we suggest a pulse of 30-100% at a roughly 3-4 second interval and a 6hr interval to roughly replicate the tides. Tide is the usual change of direction as water rushes in and then rushes out.

I've picked up 2 more 6105s, both with the 6205 covers. Could you provide ideas on how best to place these in a 72x30x30 tank?

thanks roger.

In general I would start with one in each back corner aimed to the front about half way between the center and the opposite diagonal corner. From there move them as needed to get good flow to all your inhabitants.
