How long has it been in the tank?
About 1 month Sean. Everything from this batch is coloring up nicely. All except this one, an another that has browned out since the dip.
Also what are your nitrate and phosphate levels?
Hey Matt last time i tested, which was before my last water change one Saturday i got a 0 api and .05 hanna for p04. Like i said everything is holding great color or even coloring up. Just this one and another blossom type or shortcake type i got from them.

Give that baby time :) Hell my Vivids rainbow is still coloring up from when I got it 4 months ago lol

I would also try to increase your nitrates to about 2ppm

Some are just more finicky then others

You need some Nitrate in there my friend. 0 Nitrate is bad news. Buy some calcium or potassium or sodium nitrate from aquariumfertilizer.com(its super cheap) and we can go from there.

Looks fantastic! There definitely is a t5 revolution happening

Agree. Tank looks great & I'm seeing quite a few returns to T5 lately.

Agreed on the nitrate.. Couple ppm will make the acros happy..
Super nice new piece!

Thanks guys, it really means a lot coming from you all. Specially given the masterpieces some of you all have as tanks. As far as the T5 all I have to say is.... I CANT BELIEVE I DIDNT DO IT SOONER!!!!!

As far as my nitrates I have raised them to 2ppm and have been holding steady. P04 were creeping up a bit to .07 so I added 4 tsbs of Phos Minus. Matt if you think its to much or little please advice. Besides that tank is really running on auto pilot. Growth is taking off, or at least I want to believe it is. Alk has dropped from 7.7 to 7dkh. I increased AF Balling from 8ml a day to 12ml about 4 days ago. This has brought up my alk to 7.3, so im going to increase it again to 16ml to bring to 7.7. Apparently this seems to be my sweet spot. Enough talk some shots.

just moved that yellow tipped acro from were it was and wow. its taking off I don't know what it is though

I'm glad things are going so well, and I love seeing another reefer see first hand how T5s make lighting a reef easy at the same time as being very customizable for look:celeb1:

Try to not worry about the PO4 number too much- your rocks are clean as a whistle and at this stage you would be better off with a little phosphate rather than zero. As far as the Qty of Phosphate minus, I am holding off on reccomending amounts until I know the product better. For you, test in a few days while keeping your feeding routine constant and see if your number has moved up or down and adjust accordingly. 0.07 is a fine phosphate number.

Alk is better around 7 than around 8 IME, being lower won't hurt growth.

What camera/phone are you using? It appears some of the pics are taken at an angle to the glass, which screws up even full DSLR cameras. If you are taking an angle picture, try to have at least one edge of the camera pressed up against the glass, there will be less distortions that way.
