675 gallon glass display / 1,100 + gallon system in LA

He moved to another house and moved the tank. He just updated a thread on a different big forum.

I recently moved to a new house [emoji536] I had to move my beast! It's been difficult but we are almost ready to start filling it up with water!
These pictures depict where the tank will be sitting.

Here are some pics of the underground plumbing that we went thru during construction to be able to have the filtration room separate from the tank.

Here are some pics as we built out the new fish room which is 15'x7.5'

The new room has the following build;
R-13 insulation
floor drain
plenty of dedicated circuitry
1/2" plywood backing behind all the drywall
moisture resistant drywall on all the walls and ceilings
exhaust fan to remove the humidity
plenty of lighting
mini split AC system
fiberglass door
FRP paneling (future pics)
19"x19" mop sink (future pics)
etc.

Man, what a move.
Fish room looks nice and sounds well thought out down to fiberglass door.
Do you think salt will eventually destroy your mini hvac unit?

Gonna follow. I can't imagine having to move that setup, and leave the old fish room. :( Hope the new owners have some clue what it should be used for.

If you know George, then you know that this isn't the first time he left an amazing setup behind to move.

I finally made some progress on the tank, equipment room, plumbing, cabinetry, etc.
It's been 6/7 months since we moved to the new house [emoji536].

Here are the lights on rails 24" above the tank, LEDs should be strong enough to penetrate to the bottom!

Here are the new cabinet doors instead of the hanging canopy, I wanted to have something with less light bleed. Also all the doors can come down for servicing!

Some more exterior plumbing with the 1hp chiller (which looks like a AC unit), UV Sterilizer, in-line heater, AC unit for the equipment room.

boy howdy, is that 14 Radions over the tank?

That was one of the reasons why I downgraded (stopped) at 200G, the scale of equipment was just killing me.

I wish I could keep my equipment outside haha

Hows this coming along?

It took me a long long time to get the tank reef ready...cycling, algae bloom, trying to stabilize things, etc...

But I'm over that year long hump and ready to rock again
