7 month full tank shot progression pic

i just stumbled upon this and seen how some corals grew very dramatically from late october till now....

notice.... the lower left center i have a yellow table coral didnt know it was a table then its grown alot, look at the valida centered by the clam it has also grown alot, then above the clam the sarmentosa colony and the slimer above it... just look around it shows growth everywhere makes it pleasing when u can actually see the growth from day to day u dont realize it but its there

Wow your tank is looking great. The growth is awesome. Funny how people say their growth stopped when they started using Phoenix 14k's. How big is that clam?

i am guessing around 13-14" got it when it was around 8" about a year ago it grows fast and my calcium levels are hard to keep up with all the growth

Wow! Awesome growth. That clam is beautiful. Well, all of them are, but the very large one is great. Is it Gigas? Where did you pick up that beauty? I've never seen one with that pattern.

its actually a squamosa thanks i got his at a LFS around here its actually developed alot nicer of a color since being under my lights

lookng good. amazing growth. funny how we dont notice growth until we look at old pics huh. i swear my tank is stagnant somtimes, but then i look at old pics, and low and behold growth is very apparent. great job justin. good shots as well.

hey gasman.... as far as the ca reactor goes i have the dual chamber one and im running it at about 100-110 bubble of CO2 per minute and a stream for the effluent... it keeps my effluent coming out of the first chamber at 6.4ish

even with my reactor opened up i still dose a spoon full of reef builder every 2-3 days with about 20ml of mag every 5-7 days and same for calcium.... my Ph of the tank stays kinda low about 7.8 at night to about 8.15 at end of light cycle... dont know what im guna do as i keep needing more and more calcium and alk

yeah there are alot of nice tanks out there they keep maturing over time i mean geeze 7 months ago my tank looked super new now its lookin a lil more mature

thanks man! yeah take a few pics of yours now then in 7 months its cool to see the difference im just glad ive kept pretty much everything alive lol

Def coming along nicely. I love growth sequences. I need to start putting some togeather myself. I take pictures every couple months or so. I recently just looked back on some of my old pics from Feb and noticed some huge changes. I need to dig out some of the really old pics . I think im going to make a simple site like Ewan did so I can show the progression.
