BTW all the green slimers you see in the pic came from the large colony in the upper left corner.
 
Was there a diff. in actinic supplementation between the two pics? Or did you change bulbs? Amazing growth!!!
 
Very nice, what are your gravel cleaning methods. Do you use a scraper all the way down the front of the glass inside the tank, do gravel wash the substrate.

The first pic is with 3x Reefoptix III DE Pendants with Pheonix 14K bulbs. The other two are with the 2x LM3's with 10K xm SE 250W.

Substrate is fairly new.

I plan on replaceing it every 4 months to keep it clean.

Rocks are sitting on cutting board, all the sand you see is only 30lbs, so its quite easy to replace.
