I was able to get the 5 pin cables at radio shack you suggested. The intervals with not go back and forth. I minimize and max it and the controller goes crazy!!!! The lights and pumps go crazy back and forth. Should I kill the power and then turn it on again? Is there a manual somewhere? thanks

Make sure the cables are firmly installed, unplug the pumps from the wall and reconnect them. Do you mean the interval or the pulse? I can email a manual if you provide an email address.
