Hi Corey,
Unfortunately it sounds like it locked up, there is one thing you can try. Usually when they lock up like this, the firmware was corrupted during an update, for example the power or USB cable was interrupted/disconnected. You may be able to reset it by these steps, if not, if it is sent in to us and has no water damage we will exchange it.
1) Load the avrootloader found in c:/tunze/multicontroller7096
2) Choose connect to device, once connected chose the drop down box besides flash and chose tunze7096.acy
3) On the bottom left, choose program.
4) You should get a flash successful message
5) Start the 7096 program from the desktop, a black box will appear, shut down and restart and it should work normally.
