Roger, I have a comline filter that uses a 7200/2 pump controlled by a 7091.
It appears that the electronic drive has failed. I've thoroughly cleaned the pump, tried it with several different impellers, and it does the same thing. With pump off, the impeller turns freely. With pump on the impeller is nearly locked in place and will not spin. Sometimes this is accompanied by the alarm, but sometimes with just a humming sound. Controller cycles normally, and sometimes adjusting the amplitude dials will set off the alarm, but the pump doesn't run.
If you concur that it is probably the electronic driver, is that part available. I found that the 7200/2 has been discontinued.
