My contractor was able to make it out yesterday and was able to re-design the left side of the stand to enable full accessibility to the 3 overflow drains. Now I'm waiting for him to do the same on the right side and then tie ann the posts together and finish out front wall under the stand. Once he's done with all that (
should be done over the weekend), I'll be able to begin all the drilling and plumbing.
I just bought a cargo trailer today so that IO can begin tearing down the systems at our other house and bringing them over here as I need to tie in specific portions of it as the build progresses over this next month...
To be honest, I've been so busy working that even if I wasn't waiting for my buddy to get his stuff done, I wouldn't have been able to do much more until now that my programming project is complete anyway, and I just finalized it yesterday afternoon!
As for the bike, hopefully I'll have new pics and build updates to post in the next day or two... I've ordered several more cosmetic and performance parts which should be arriving tomorrow and Saturday. The M4 Carbon can isn't one of them though, because the money that I would have used for that was spent on a liveaboard dive trip to the Texas Flower Gardens in 2 weeks. In fact, I just paid for that trip this morning I was also ready to pull the trigger on a set of adjustable racing brake & clutch levers for the SV, but decided to buy a pair of Kevlar slider pants instead, because I'm gonna have it in the mountains next weekend and since the dive trip is 3 days after the bike trip, I figured if I go down in a turn then the dive trip wouldn't be possible due to road rash. Slider gear will keep my skin in tact, and I would just end up having to replace the new levers again anyway, so I figure that I'll add them after I return from
both trips!
