Designed and built by yours truly I'm not a professional carpenter but in my humble opinion this is a great design! I have built a couple before arriving at this one. What is great about it is that the front and half the top swings up and away, leaving the whole front and top of the tank exposed while at the same time leaving the metal halides bulbs in place so that there is light for you to work on your tank, take pictures, etc.

You would run the VHO's or T5's underneath the metal halide bulbs/pendants, parallel to the fron t of the tank. This allows the not as intense VHO/T5 actinics to be closer to the water.

This is the Canopy ONLY.

I have a truck in case you cant fit in your car. COuld be discussed.

The height is 14" The inside and outside have been moisture proofed with polyurethane. The color could be changed, of course.

could be interested, but not till around august 6th when i return to miami, would it be easy for me to take my SE MHs off my canopy now and run the wires and all that onto yours?
